In this cooking class, we’ll dive into the rich flavors of savory Italian cuisine, starting with a hearty Savory White Bean Soup that warms the soul. Next, we’ll slow-cook tender Short Ribs in a rich Bolognese sauce that will leave you craving for more. And to round out the meal, we’ll learn the art of making creamy Rosemary and Parmesan Polenta, a classic Italian side dish. Finally, we’ll sweeten things up with a decadent Zabaglione dessert, featuring fresh seasonal fruit. If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.

Matt Zagorski

Chef Matt Zagorski is an award-winning chef and holds over a dozen national pie making titles. He is well known for his sense of humor, approachable recipes and his ability to break down complicated culinary techniques so that anyone can execute them. A food history and food science geek, Chef Matt brings his recipes to life with fun and interesting food stories and facts. A lover of international cuisines, Chef Matt received his culinary training at Kendall College and has been teaching culinary classes for over 15 years. He lives in Arlington Heights with his wife of 29 years, two sons and their dog.
