Join National pie making champion, Matt Zagorski in this delicious class offered just in time for Thanksgiving! In this class, Chef Matt will demonstrate his award winning Dutch apple pie (this pie twice won First-Place honors at the National Pie Making Championships (Apple pie category) and his latest creation, a deeply satisfying and not-too-sweet chocolate cream pie. CHef Matt, known for his ability to break down complex tasks and techniques, will also demonstrate and share closely held secrets to the art of pie dough making (it’s not that hard!) So, whether you like making pie or eating it, this will be a great class for you!

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.

Matt Zagorski

Chef Matt Zagorski is an award-winning chef and holds over a dozen national pie making titles. He is well known for his sense of humor, approachable recipes and his ability to break down complicated culinary techniques so that anyone can execute them. A food history and food science geek, Chef Matt brings his recipes to life with fun and interesting food stories and facts. A lover of international cuisines, Chef Matt received his culinary training at Kendall College and has been teaching culinary classes for over 15 years. He lives in Arlington Heights with his wife of 29 years, two sons and their dog.
